Back in July, I headed to Lake Winnipeg on a mission: get as many different species as possible in one location. I upped the challenge by restricting myself to one vintage fishing lure, all day.
My grandpa had recently offloaded some of his old fishing gear on me, so I went into one of his tackle boxes and found a Lindy spinner rig that must have been at least 20 years old. I made the right call, because it was a non-stop day of multispecies action.
Every second cast was a fish, and I ended up boating freshwater drum, channel cats, bullheads and a couple nice greenback walleyes.
Would you have the guts to only bring one lure out fishing? It worked out well for me this particular time. Enjoy the highlights!
